Autumn is the season of beautiful changing leaves and Pumpkin spice everything. Something I love to do is grab myself an iced PSL from Starbucks. I only have one per season, as those things are loaded with crap, but it really helps me to get into the festive feeling. So, I thought what if I could make a healthy pumpkin spice smoothie bowl, I’d get to start my mornings feeling festive as often as I want. Packed with protein and complex carbs, this pumpkin pie smoothie bowl is sure to start those cooler mornings off with a bang!!

Lets Get To It

Ingredients

200ml Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Frozen Medium Banana (frozen)
100g Pumpkin Puree*
1 tsp Pumpkin Spice**
1 Scoop Protein Powder

Instructions

1. Add all your ingredients to your bullet or blender, blitz until smooth and serve.
* If you cant find pumpkin puree in your local store (usually its in the America section) then buy a small pumpkin, Half it and scoop out the seeds and guts, place it in the oven for 30 mins to soften it, it will then be easier to slice the skin off. Boil it until soft and blend. Freeze the rest for another day!
** My Pumpkin Spice is from Trader Joes in the USA. To mimic the taste use – ½ tsp cinnamon, ¼ tsp ground ginger, ⅛ tsp nutmeg, ⅛ tsp allspice
