This pina colada trail mix can be a life saver because, let’s be honest, hanger is and emotion. Trust me, I feel it in my soul.

Hangry (n.) A state of anger and irritability resulting from being hungry.

Therefore, I always carry an emergency snack, if i’m out and about but not out the full day. Theres nothing worse than getting stuck in traffic or small things taking longer than they should – resulting in hangriness. My go to snack right now is a summer inspired pina colada trial mix. This gives me all the summer feels, pineapple and coconut together make an amazing combo.
Trail mix, if done properly will pick up and balance your blood sugar just right, giving you some extra time before your next meal. The great thing about trail mix also is that it lasts forever!! So you can keep it in you bag for months without needing it. Be sure to always make up your own trail mix though, because store bought ones are usually way too sugary, giving you the exact opposite effect to what you desire.

Ingredients

10g Raw Cashews
10g of each Coconut Flakes, Dried Pineapple, Macadamia

Instructions

1. Add all your ingredients into a ziplock bag and you’re all set!
