Our liver and kidneys do a beautiful job at removing toxins from our bodies so why people are still selling miracle detoxes is so crazy to me.

 

Toxins are all around us. When your body is exposed to a lot of toxins it takes care of them by wrapping them in fat cells and transporting them away from the vital organs. The body naturally detoxifies everyday however, you can make small changes to reduce your toxic load.

 

EASY WAYS TO REDUCE YOUR EXPOSURE TO TOXINS

GET A WATER FILTER

Tap water contains lots of nasty chemicals. chlorine, fluorine compounds, Trihalomethane’s, hormones, pesticides, trace amounts of prescription drugs and even trace amounts of recreational drugs. Therefore a water filter is essential in making sure that you don’t ingest any of that. Change the filter as recommended by the brand you chose. 

 

CHANGE UP YOUR BEAUTY REGIME

GO FOR BPA FREE OR BETTER YET GLASS

Being on the go means having to prepare healthy meals ahead. What you store these meals in matters. Glass is best, but if you are likely to break it, then go for BPA free plastic. Bisphenol A is a toxic compound which leeches from plastic. Opt for a BPA free range. 

 

FAR INFRARED SAUNA

These incredible things, are incredible for helping you sweat out the toxins. They even draw metals and plastics out the body. After using you should take a shower immediately other wise your skin will reabsorb all the toxins you have sweated out, take a multi vitamin and take a nap. This is because it’s a draining process to pull so many toxins out in to the sweat. Do not use if you have any body enhancement implants, It may make them leak as it will try to draw them out the body. Check with your doctor if you’re concerned about the infrared sauna.
